It's not often I get to personally see my painting hanging up in a
client's home...but what a treat when I do! Judy and Charles
commissioned me to paint a large 7' by 5' painting to hang above the
rock fireplace in their gorgeous "cabin" home. Judy wanted to brighten
up the place with some color, and thought one of my paintings would be
perfect. They both wanted something with lots of "sunlight"...yellows
and reds, with a pathway winding through Aspen trees. We did it all via
emails. While I was in Aspen for the Gallery show, one of my top
priorities was to visit Judy and Charles at the "cabin" and see the
painting hanging up. That visit was the highlight of my trip! It was so
fun getting to know Judy and Charles on a more personal level and to
see the painting in its new home. It was the perfect painting for that
spot! Experiences like these are the best part of my job.
